I hadn't trained as much as I should have over the winter but none the less went to race the UCI Tour of the Dominican Republic two weeks ago with the CAICO Pro team we sponsor out of Colombia. I started using nuBound two weeks before this stage race and was very impressed. I had planned to ride myself into shape during the race, but was forced into working for our team leader after stage 3 when we took over the lead in the general classification.
We all got the same recovery products post-race from the team in the form of an IV liquid that has Vitamin C, folic acid, and then every other day a B Complex. Some of the guys used Hammer nutrition products and other recovery aids in addition to what the team provided. I used nothing else but nuBound.
On day 6, the team masseuse made a comment to me that my legs had way less lactic acid build up than the other guys on the team. (And trust me they were in better shape than I was at the moment)! He mentioned that my muscles still felt very supple with just a few knots, whereas everyone else had significant lactic acid build up, which was taking longer to work out ...
... I just don't want to tell anyone though! Ha ha! Thanks for the product and I will be reordering!
